David Boda

David Boda is thrilled to be joining Cable 14 to host the all-new City Matters: Weekend Edition. A long-time Hamilton resident, father of two, and graduate of McMaster University’s Communications and Multimedia program, David’s roots in Hamilton run deep. He is excited to put his curiosity and passion for local politics/ current affairs to work, informing Hamiltonians about the issues that affect them.

David honed his presentation skills and love for a story well-told on the performance stages of the Greater Hamilton Area, Alberta, and Saskatchewan and pursued an acting degree. He fell in love with media production, training development, and current affairs during his decade of work with international students at Hamilton’s Columbia International College. His experiences as a theatrical performer, international student life professional, and audio/video creator have David convinced that clear, credible communication and a well-informed public are a necessity for a thriving city.

David is also the co-creator of Frequency Podcast Network’s “The Adventures of the Starship Coconut,” a zany Sci-Fi audio experience for the whole family featured on Apple Podcasts as one of Canada’s “New & Noteworthy” podcasts.
