David Hudson
Community Producer
David Hudson has spent over twenty years performing, creating, and championing contemporary dance. Born and raised in Oxford, UK, he trained at The Laban Centre in London before building a diverse career as a dancer, choreographer, educator, and drag artist — a range of practice that continues to shape how he thinks about art, audience, and community.
Since 2019, David has served as Executive Director of the Hamilton Arts Council, providing strategic leadership and program design across the organization's work — including The Arty Crowd, the digital platform behind Arty Crowd Out Loud!
David now calls downtown Hamilton home, where he lives with his husband and two dogs. Stepping into the host chair for Season 4, he brings two decades of artistic practice and years embedded in Hamilton's arts sector to every conversation — and a genuine excitement to keep introducing viewers to the artists shaping this city.
