Rosemary Baptista is a radio host, producer and freelance writer for community, main stream and ethnic newspapers. Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to a political and national defence family, Rosemary was raised and educated in Hamilton, Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. She now lives in Hamilton and as a tireless promoter of Hamilton, she serves on a number of key committees and boards lending her years of experience to advance these many good causes. Rosemary is also a former Miss Brazil/Canada! She started making television when she pitched Scott C. Newman her idea to do a documentary on Hamilton’s longest serving Mayor and Canadian Judge, Bob Morrow. As a friend of Bob’s, former choir member, and a friend of his family, Rosemary was the perfect person to co-produce what eventually became a 1.5 hour film and five part docu-series on the life and golden era of Bob Morrow.
